  "I loved this hostel. I stayed there at a time when I was having a tough time adjusting to life in Argentina and the vibe in the hostel really helped. The staff were always very helpful with tours, information and even helping you to get other accommodation if they couldn't meet my needs. As the e..."nd of my 10 day stay we had a lunch with several of the other guests and the staff to say thank you. The vibe is very relaxed and friendly and there is a culture of chit-chat between guests. Most of the other guests were Argentinians and I think it might be a harder if you don't speak Spanish. The value was excellent for the facilities and services. The location was also great as it was extremely close to a good grocery store, the university, the observatory and the nice part of downtown.   "We stayed here on the way from Bariloche to Buenos Aires. The room was much better than another hotel we looked at and reasonably priced at 390 pesos a night with breakfast. The locked car park down the road was 30 pesos. They don't speak English but their son chatted to us in English at breakfast. ..."Our room was comfortable only the barred window was facing a courtyard which didn't feel very private. Breakfast was traditional with our only comment on the Orange juice that was cordial unlike all the places we have stayed with freshly squeezed juice.   "I stayed at La Morada on a business trip to Neuquen - we booked very late and were incredibly lucky to find space available here. What an adorable place, with incredibly kind hosts! My coworkers and I were stuck working at the inn until very late on the first night, and the owners brought us coffe..."e and recommended a place to grab a quick dinner for takeout. When we returned, they had set tables for us! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and modern. The outdoor space is lovely, and the lobby is very comfortable. On the second day, I was stuck again working in the hotel until around 3pm, and again the hosts couldn't have been more helpful. They brought breakfast, coffee, and offered to call a cab when it was time for me to go to my meeting. Only downside is that it is a little bit out of the way -- a cab ride is needed to get to the main part of town (although there isn't much there either...) " More >
