  "We stayed at Cruz del Sur for 4 days in April. Yes it was busy as it's a popular hostel but we managed to get a dorm all to ourselves & thoroughly enjoyed being in a place where the kitchen & bathrooms were impeccably clean and where there was a separate lounge/common area for movies/ reading/ skyp..."e/ wifi etc with a no shoes rule. This meant that other parts of the hostel were quieter & not jam-packed with people shouting over skype all over the place. The sisters who run the place run a tight ship & are super duper friendly, warm & welcoming. Yes they may have some rules but that's what stops some hostels from just turning into a drunken college dorm. Would highly recommend as a base for Ushuaia " More >

  "It's been a while since we visited, but I couldn't stop thinking about writing. We only stayed for two nights and it was perfect. I could tell you about the lodging etc..Which was all superb.. But I would like to tell you more about the owners.. First of all, they are very helpful (explaining ever..."y day, every time the same thing to people visiting my house would drive me crazy!), but the best part came when we left. We took a flight to el calafate, when I found out I lost my bankcard! Before I could contact the cabanas, the owner already contacted me.. And he called around to other hostels to see who would go to calafate. He found somebody and brought the card there. I could pick it up at a hostel in el calafate.. How is that for service!! We would still like to thank both owners for this exclusive and very sweet gesture.. What more can I say!! " More >
