  "We stayed at this hotel for two nights. It's about 10 mins from the Grand Canyon main gate. Check in was really fast, even though there were a lot of people there, we got our room card in less than 5 mins. Our room was not in the main hotel building, it was right behind it. We were on the 2nd floor...." The room was clean and roomy. The king sized bed was really comfortable. All the amenities worked fine. I especially loved the hairdryer, it was an expensive looking ion dryer that was awesome. The bathroom did not have a bathtub, just a walk in shower but it worked fine. We never got a chance to use the pool or hot tub. The hotel is located right across the street from McDonald's so we went there to get breakfast. There is also a mexican restaurant attached to the hotel called Plaza Bonita. I had never eaten there before but it was really good. We also got some margaritas there.   "This hotel was a very nice Best Western. Our room was clean, large and quiet with good access to Wi-Fi. There were a few bars and restaurants to choose from and a large games room. By far the best thing about it though was the concierge Michelle. She not only advised us of some great trips (the jeep..." tour through the forest (not the pink one) and the Maverick Helicopter trip) but she helped us out, when we could not get the shuttle back to Flagstaff, with a fantastic private hire car at a very cheap price. This turned out to be brilliant as the driver told us some great info on the countryside as we drove there, stopped at photo opportunities and gave us a guided tour around Flagstaff once we arrived at no extra charge!   "Wow! This was a great place to stay. Gorgeous lobby. Greeted by a super nice front desk person. He couldn’t stop smiling the whole time we were checking in. The rooms are immaculately clean with nice décor and arrangement. Breakfast is outstanding. Many choices. Yes. It is pricy. We booked because ..."we were late making reservations and this was only hotel available in the area, so we had no choice, but in retrospect, we are not disappointed.
