  "This is a first rate place to stay if you visit Llandrindod Wells. The greeting from Ruth on arrival was welcoming and friendly. I had a good sized, clean room and the breakfast was good. Portland House is well placed in the town and close to all the shops yet quite and relaxing."

  "My husband and I booked a Trip Advisor getaway for a "gastronomic" weekend. The hotel is lovely, full of character and in a lovely location. We both had a spa treatment and used the pool. The food was excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back."
