  "We recently stayed at condo #111 in Graeagle Meadows Resort. It was perfect! The condo is perfectly situated. It is tucked in a quiet back corner of the complex with exquisite views of Mill Pond. The condo is comfortable with all the amenities of home. 3bd, 2.5 bath; 1 king, 1 queen, 2 twin b..."eds. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, dishwasher, full fridge, microwave, coffee pot, etc. Cable is included in the rental and fee based internet is available (about $15 for the week). However, there are plenty of puzzles, cards, dominos, etc. There is also a garage for securely storing bikes. There is also a real wood burning fireplace for cozy nights in. The condo is located within walking distance of Graeagle and a 5 minute drive to Blairsden. Graeagle offers put-put golf, horse riding stables, a bar, restaurants, and a couple of coffee shops.   "i stayed here with friends this past weekend as well as two years ago. it was interesting to see the difference that time makes... two years ago, the food portions were obscene. this year, the food portions were much more manageable. i'm happy to see that they are cutting down on their food costs..." but i didn't like that i had to ask for fruit juice refills at breakfast. that seems like much more work for the servers than is necessary. the staff hasn't changed and they are all really lovely and caring people. i was happy to see the same smiling faces that know my friend who has come to the lodge for about 15 years now. the hiking from the lodge is nice and varied. you can go easy to Smith Lake or harder around Long Lake or up to Mt Elwell. these hikes originate at the lodge. you can also drive to the surrounding lakes like Sardine, Salmon or Gold Lake and all of these hikes are scenic and beautiful. it's really quiet and dark at night so you can star gaze easily or enjoy th...   "We de Diego take a few days off and google for a nice hotel in this area. Our room has double terrace doors onto a deck overlooking the grounds, back of lodge and pool. Had a nice massage by Amanda at the spa. It is small but comfortable. Our room has king bed,fireplace and flat screen tv. Bath ga..."s 2 sinks, small closet with separate shower/toilet area. Steps from our bed area leads to sitting loft, table, chairs, small frig with no freezer, microwave plus 1/2 bath. I assume the sma sofa is a hide-a-bed. There is a little traffic during the day as it is on Highway 70, only 2 lines not a freeway. This lodge has all that I wanted. Breakfast. Nice dinners. Spa. Golf and bikes. A great getaway.
