  "We spent 2 weeks skiing at Copper at the end of February and had a wonderful time. We stayed in unit 308 in Taylor's Crossing. The building was right in the center of the village, very handy for the Flyer and Eagle lifts, and close to the grocery store, restaurants, and shuttle stops for the East an..."d West village. Each floor had a coin-operated laundry with one washer and a dryer. There were also a small gym with a steam room, and a small hot tub. The unit we had was a one-bedroom unit. It's very spacious for a couple, and it's furnished to a high standard. The balcony had a nice unobstructed view across the skating lake. The housekeepers who came in every third day did a good job cleaning it. We were very comfortable in the unit. The only thing we felt that was lacking was storage. The bathroom was a good size, but there wasn't any surface to put our toiletries.   "We went to Copper Mtn for the first time and could not have been happier! If you are a hard core skier/snowboarder looking simply for the most advanced and challenging hills, go to Breck. If you are like me and average rider who boards 3-4x/year and has kids who are just learning Copper is PERFECT..."! I had always heard Winter Park was the "family" resort so we went there 2x this season and HATED IT!!! My children had very disappointing lessons, the staff is uninspired and average at best, and the resort is laid out so that all you do is walk, walk, walk!!! My daughter had a great instructor who really connected with her. The atmosphere was awesome. There was a stage set up right in the middle of the village square with bands playing all day...There were people dancing and hanging around. Drinks and food were also surprisingly affordable. Other resorts charge Disney prices but they had deals at all of the bars/restaurants for pizza/beer or hot dog/beer, etc for $5-8 each. ... " More >
