  "I first saw this spring when I was 15 years old and on my way to visit Florida State University with my high school FHA group. It was operated as Spring with cottages, gift shop and, restaurant. Captivated as a teenager. Later, I returned as a teacher and lived on the Rainbow. The attraction had ..."closed. The house I lived in was one of the former cottages moved on to a private lot. The river is spell binding. Crystal clear, visible fish, cold water, natural beauty at its best. God's gift is there on the Rainbow River. KP Hole where swimmers gather is popular. Plants grow in abundance. Neighbors are friendly and gather at the Park for every occasion like Blue Grass concerts in Spring time. Azaleas, dog wood, magnolias all bloom there in abundance.   "This was the perfect place for us, we stayed with our 3 daughters. We go tubing every year and it was nice not have to drive 3 hrs after a full day of tubing. This place had lots for the kids to do as well. They offer a pool and grills with a rec center area for the kids."
