  " I spent two nights at the Sawgrass Marriott. The grounds are beautiful, waterfalls complete with water birds. As it is an older property, about to be renovated, it is on a big piece of property which is great as it is less crowded. The rooms are due a makeover as the decor is dated, but the tvs are..." new, and it seems that the beds have been replaced, it was really comfortable. It being Florida there is a healthy bug population and one of the palmetto bugs (basically a large roach with a nicer name) visited my room. I killed it and called the front desk at midnight to remove the carcass and to bring bug spray! It was after midnight, within 10 minutes maintenance was at my door to remove the body and sprayed some bug spray and gave me tips to avoid another visit. The front desk arrange for an exterminator visit the following day. Great workout room, beautiful view, well maintained equipment. I also visited the spa. I had a manicure and pedicure.   "This is a beautiful resort with great amenities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Hope to stay here again. The two pols are exceptional and the grounds are well maintained. The breakfast is very pricey but to be expected at this type if resort. Two free drinks at check-in is nice bonus."

  "We spent a long weekend at the resort and enjoyed the beautiful pool area, waterfall, especially at night, the fire pits, the cabana club on the beach and the friendly staff. The room was very average for such a nice resort. The beds were not as comfortable as I expect from a Marriott hotel. The sel..."f parking is a long walk from the rooms. We did not use the shuttle to the beach club but did drive there and spent a wonderful day on the deck, by the beach. The beach area was covered in sea weed but I am comparing it to the sugar white sand on the west coast beaches in the panhandle and it is not even close to being as nice! The staff forgot to give us the free drink coupons at check in and the code for Internet service but I think this was taken care of after a few calls. I did have to ask for the parking pass for the beach club as well. We ate lunch at the cabana club and it was very good!overall I would recommend the resort and return!
