While we were ther..."e it rained on one night and the level of the stream increased dramatically . The cabin itself is large and spacious and was very clean on arrival . The wifi worked with no issues , however we were a little surprised to find very few towels there .. with 8 people staying we simply went out and bought more but you should check this before you book. The hot tob was great and the sauna appreared brand new .. we had a great time in there as well . we got our supply from Ingles which is a 15 min drive away .   "The gravel road leading to the gravel sites is a bit steep and slightly washed out. Coming down it is ok but I would suggest leaving by the road around the lake. Road noise was minimal but trucks using their Jake brakes could be heard There is a row of pull thru sites (77-85) that are long enough f..."or big rigs but not very level. We had touble leveling our 40ft Class A in #81 so the owner moved us to #45, a backin which was level and had a shady stream running behind it. The park is well treed but there are lots of sites that offer clear skies for your satellite. Sprint phone and 3G worked fine. Bathrooms, showers and laundry were kept very clean. There is a lot of open area in the park for recreation with a fishing pond and short walking trail. The owners are very friendly and helpful. " More >

  "I picked it because of the location. The North Georgia Zoo and Babyland General were literally minutes away. We stayed in the honeymoon suite for $10 more, it's a large carpeted room with quilts and a full-size bed. There was lots of seating, lamps and a sitting area with a TV, alarm clock etc. ..."The bathroom is connected and there's even a night light and a cabinet for your toiletries. No kids or pets are allowed. It was quiet and comfortable. It was built in 1984 and we only saw one other guest/tenant while we were there. There's a large breakfast area and a living room but the couch was normally occupied. The breakfast the first day wasn't great. The hubby said the pancakes tasted like they were reheated. The second day, I ordered toast and eggs which were sublime. We also got juice, bacon (or sausage), coffee or tea. You can check in around noon and checkout is at 11 which is convenient.
