  "I was pleasantly surprised at this old facility on the courthouse square in Hillsboro and really happy that I stayed here and not at the chain hotels along the interstate 7 miles away. It's like staying in a bed and breakfast in the sense that it's an old building with attractive rooms, comfortable..." beds, flowery wallpaper, and old wooden doors and windows, but there's no breakfast and no staff hovering because the staff are only there from about 10 am to 3 pm. More modern features are wireless internet and a nice big TV with cable. It's quiet and I slept well until the Lutherans next door started chiming their bells at 8 am every morning which is an issue if you are from the Pacific Time Zone. It's within walking distance of the Church Street Cafe which is a great restaurant for dinner and Dohack's where you can get a good breakfast. Definitely a good place to stay. " More >
