  "In looking for a hotel in South Bend, I came across the Waterford on Hotels.com. It was reasonably priced and in a quiet location. The hotel is a bit older but has been maintained very well. The rooms were updated, clean and the beds really comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful (..."even got a 10% discount for the next time). It has a great pool area and the pub/grill attached was also good. There is a free buffet breakfast which had a good selection of hot and cold food.
