The hotel is out-dated cosmetically, but we found everything in our room to be in good working order. There was a mini-fridge, microwave, hair dryer, cable TV. Our ..."room was located near the pool-area, but it was very quiet and we slept great. The pool and hot tub were great for the kids. There was also a small bar area with a pool table and video games. We were able to set-up some tables outside the pool area for playing cards and hanging out. Attached to the hotel is a restaurant, which we visited one night and we had pizza delivered the next. The continental breakfast didn't have many options, but no one went hungry. The staff was excellent. When we requested more towels or pillows they were happy to help us. We had to book a single as they were sold out, but the day before we called and they had a cancellation so we ended up with a double. The process was easy to switch and the gal I spoke with was very friendly. When we were checking..." in, the lady in front of us gave her name and they did not have a reservation for her and she did not have a reservation number. The gal at the front desk was very polite and tried to accomadate her. I did see her there later so I assume she either booked under a different name or they found a room for her. The front desk explained about breakfast, the pool hours and when quiet hour started which was nice. We did have to have a smoking room (did not even know these existed anymore), because they were full, but the room was clean and didn't have a strong odor from being a smoking room. I had a great experience from calling in and being helped from booking my room, to actual check in.
