The Inn itself is so handsomely furnished and decorated; you feel like you are in the home of someone who loves local history and comfort. No kitsch here (stuffed animals and hearts and homespun); just tasteful and comfortable. The original interior and exterior have been lovingly maintained for hundreds of years and we just felt so fortunate to have been able to experience it. To give you an idea of how very thoughtful Sarah is- how many inns have you stayed where they provide you with a printed reminder of your local restaurant reservation, with walking and driving directions, AND a reminder to ask for one of their flashlights if you are walking?!!
