  "My first visit. Fantastic use of old housing. Like a B&B but with upscale amenities like a heated pool, hot tub, sauna. Loved the spacious bathroom in our one-bedroom suite. I'm not a big fan of kitch, but it worked as good as it can in this case. I tried not to look at the thrift-store-inspired "ar..."t" on the walls. It may be 'hip' but it's not attractive. But that's really beside the point. The beds were comfy; I could sink into the couch with my morning coffee, step outside to the hot tub, and walk to MassMoCA for some heavy-duty art.   "After hearing bad reviews of this place, it was a surprise at how enjoyable my stay was at the newly renovated hotel. I was very pleased to say the least. The hotel is centrally located in North Adams, and has clean rooms with comfortable beds. Additionally the pool area with saunas is very nice...." The only downside is that the gym is rather small and has limited equipment, but it's better than nothing. Overall, given the poor reviews previously, it is apparent that Holiday Inn paid significant attention to improving the quality, and it was very noticable. " More >
