I walked around the neighborhood late at night, had no problems. There is a wooded area next to the hotel where I sat at a picnic table in the am to listen to the singing birds. Trash can was full of beer cans, may be some validity to the review that said that homeless were in the lot. Did not see any riff raff in the lot on the Sat night when I was there. Outside of some dirt in light dome in the room entry , room was surprisingly clean.   "In my room as I type this..Ok so its not the Ritz..its a Super 8! It was clean and close to Boston and the state lines of NH and ME. That was the main reason why we stayed here. The gentleman who checked us in was very nice and helpful. Set up like a motel, but has free wi-fi in rooms, breakfast in..." looby and the is a computer in lobby too (if you dont have a laptop) It also provides in room coffee, fridge and microwave, iron and iron board, soaps and shampoo- so what more can you want. The rooms are on the small side but I didnt come all the way to New England to hang out in the room all day. If in the area again I would have no problem staying here again.
