  "What a lovely Inn! We stayed in the Captain's Cottage right next to the Inn, as the Inn was full, and we were lucky to get the last of any rooms. It was beyond our expectations in just how nice it was. Totally immaculate, totally wonderful. The staff are super friendly, the fresh baked cookies ..."in the evening were to die for, and a delightful breakfast in the morning with fresh baked cinnamon bread and other treats. Peaceful and quite and beautiful view of the water. Was too chilly to sit on the porch, but we will certainly be back! I highly recommend anyone visiting Grand Haven to stay here. It's quite a treat!   "We stopped here on a whim heading home from Traverse City. We were on our way after having lunch in Grand Haven to Saugatuk to find a place to stay. When we drove by the Bluewater we saw the "Vacancy" sign and did a u-turn. It was 1 week before our anniversary, which was going to be on Mother's D..."ay, so we decided to celebrate a week early. We went in and told Mike it was our anny, which to us it was, and he gave us a lovely room overlooking the beach with a fantastic patio! It was May 5th and a sunday afternoon so they weren't too busy and he gave us a great deal for our anniversary! It was a perfect day! We went to the beach and stuck our toes in the sand on an 80 degree day in early May. Then went back to room to clean up and have our own romantic happy hour on our deck and went back to beach for sunset. Then out for dinner in GH at the Snug Harbor. It was a lovely evening!   "This hotel is the best. The ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful and a joy to talk to. The hot tub broke Friday and was fixed Saturday morning. The pool was clean and a perfect temp, the room was clean, and the breakfast was good. The person that cleaned our room went out of their way to ..."put our child's stuffed animals nice on the bed and covered them with his blanket. He was so excited that someone took care of his stuffed animals. We will be back next year for the Tulip Festival. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a friendly environment. " More >
