We had problem with electricity, "engineers" fixed it, and everything was ok again:) ISLAND: Beautiful nature, perfect sea, lovely surroundings, real jungle...everything on the island was admirable. FOOD: We had full board, so we didn't have problems with prices. Food was excellent, every day we had a different variety of meals. I tried a different cuisines, no stomach problems.   "We spend 1 week in may 2013 in breakfast only The island is very nice, beaches are beautiful and the hotel itself is perfect However, what people have to know when booking - restaurant prices are outrageously expensive - activities such as other islands visit are limited with the last boat return f..."rom Mahe to Silhouette island (5 pm departure which nearly oblige to use only the offer from the hotel, expensive and not frequent enough) (e.g. only wednesday and sunday visit to Praslin and La Digue, between 300 and 450 € per head depending on the number of people) - discovering by foot the island (going top and on the other side) requires a very good physical condition On top, the service especially at the pool bar is below any expectation: slow, inaccurate, inefficient. This last point is a real pity as it gives a bad impression on an overall good experience. Despite pre-arranging a transfer from the airport to the jetty, there was no one waiting for us. Despite showing an email confirmin..."g our transfer to a Hilton employee who was there to collect other passengers, we had to make our own arrangements. Terrible customer service. On arrival at the jetty we were met by Gibson, who apologised for the misunderstanding. He said there would be wine and fruit in our room when we arrived at the resort. There was not - we had to request this. Another example of terrible customer service. The boat transfer was smooth (although the same cannot be said for the return transfer, which was extremely bumpy!) and the boat was very nice and comfortable.
