A co-worker had made the reservations as we were on company business on the way to conduct an audit of a cold storage facility in Suffolk, Virginia. This was to be a one night stay as we made our way up the coast from S.C. My co-wor..."ker had stayed here on several occassions in the past and couldn't brag enough on how nice and unique this place was.....my first trip with him, so I was willing to take his word for it. Well, as it turned out.....even with all the compliments he had parlayed.....he still didn't do it justice. A special place it is,....the antiques, the charm, the location, the Inn keepers, and of course....a delicious breakfast on that beautiful porch. Here's some info that absolutely "floored me" and I know you will think it has 'biased' my opinion of this beautiful Inn.....but, Ok...think what you may, but here goes.
