The fire pit while nice to sit by doesn't have a grate for cooking outside. Also, a good flashlight as there is not a porch light to leave on at night and is a bit dark coming back for the night.   "As they say, to each his own and I stayed here despite of or actually, because of the last review that highlighted "the great McDonalds" after complaining about what turned out to be an egg souffle and an eclectic mix of decorations (not for those that appreciate a spartan or minimalist decor;-) I ..."have not eaten at McDonalds in several years so may be considered a food snob but ended up happily staying here as the owner seems to go out of her way to make some truly great breakfasts with the second day being a Dutch baby pancake. The bed was cozy enough and we were woken up with the scents of fine food and songs of birds and thankfully, not by a golf ball crashing through the window. I found the location convenient with nice landscaping. Will definitely stay here if in the area again. Tip: Caffe Rel, a dinner not to be missed. " More >
