  "Took a quick mid week trip to OIB with our grandson. While we are very familiar with OIB, we had never stayed at The Winds. We stayed in one of the rooms across the street from the beach front units. The room was fresh, clean and the beds were very comfy. The property amenities were great. We l..."oved the two outdoor pools and hot tubs. The complementary bike rental was an added bonus. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the staff was very accommodating. We are considering a large family gathering next year and the staff opened up the other areas of the cottage so we could see if it would work for us. There is only one criticism that I have and that is the indoor pool. While we did enjoy the pool, the room itself is in desperate need of a fresh coat of paint and a little TLC. Fix this area up and you will get 5 stars from me. " More >

  "People upgraded or room at check-in, where extremely welcoming, and allowed us in a little early. Assisted in restaurant options and fishing guidance. Allowed a military discount we were unaware of previously. Don't forget to stop by the tiki bar for a meal and drinks. Good food and friendly staff. "
