  "We stayed in June and had a basic room - basic it was but had a punchy heater and was surprisingly comfortable. I guess i can only refer to the bed, as that was pretty much all you got. I'm not sure what the more expensive rooms are like. The hotel is old and needs so much work, it amazes me how the..."y can afford to keep it going, however, they have made great efforts to make it look appealing and hold a grand, unique look. It's interesting to look at inside. The floors in the room were dire and i almost fell in the garden ditch due to inadequate lighting out the front. The people who greeted us, (not THE managers, as they were out of town) were very friendly. She was british and seemed to want to help. The entrance needs to look more open. Overall - good enough. I liked the self serve kitchen with many foods available. Go to the Norseman pub for a brilliant feed. " More >
