The Inn was full that night, but the next day we were very kindly upgraded to a super 2 room suite, at no extra cost, also out of range of the evening's music. We couldn't have been more pleased. The staff was wonderful and helpful, and eager to share any information about the area, the history of the Inn, and directions to anywhere we wanted to go. The continental breakfast was adequate for our needs, and the beds were like sleeping on a cloud. But I think my favorite were the rocking chairs on the front porch, where I could sit and read and rock to my heart's delight. Probably the only suggestion I might make is to add a handrail ... Yes, the walls are thin and noise travels, but the clientele were mostly quiet for our two night visit. The bed was comfy, and although fairly small by today's standards, the room was big enough for us. The bathroom is quite small, but has all the necessities. Surprisingly, I could not find the Golf Channel on the tv however. We ate the breakfast buffet both mornings and it was very good at $12 per. She is a total asset to that hotel. Rooms were exceptionally clean...so hats off to the housekeeping staff. Breakfast was goo..."d, not exceptional, just basic, but that was not why I booked the hotel so I was okay with it. Several other great breakfast places within 1/4 of a mile. Great restaurants within walking distance. My only complaint period was that they do not have washer/dryer facilities on site. Would absolutely stay here again. " More >
