  "I decided to give it a shot! (being a Choice Privilege member) I was positively surprised by the room. Honestly, I was afraid of what I could get at this Econolodge in an older building. There was a smell in the stairs, but when I got to the 3rd hallway, it was completely different, no smell at all...." When I got in the room, I was impressed. Renovated recently, lots of AC outlets, not too small, clean, strong wi-fi, new air cond unit. Nice little pub and restaurant also. Close to downtown, well located.   "ALWAYS AMAZED FOR THE QUALITY"
  "We have been a the Auberge 4 times, 3 times in September 2009,2010,2011, and last year we decided 1st week of October 2012. What a scenery.....the colors were breathtaking and so happy to be there for the foliage. Last year we stayed 5 days and enjoyed every moment as far as the room, 2 large beds..." but they should change the mattresses, too hard!! The view is incredible of the St.Lawrence river. Talking about the 5 course dinner, the chef Mario Chabot, succeded to impress us every night, the food is incredible. We are planning to go back again in the Fall IT IS A MUST!!!!! " More >

When as a guest of a hotel, you have specific needs, specific requirements, specific details; when we pay what we pay, in a hotel like La Pinsonnie..."re, I never assume that employees will be able to read my mind. I make sure that they know about me and what some of my needs or my sweetie will needs, weeks if not months before I get there. Some of the details are.... 1) Freshly cut flowers in our room when we get there. 2) A bottle of Veuve Cliquot on ice, on the table, in our room when we get there. 3) Table booked, for the same night, in the hotel, away from any service station. 4) Absolutely no garlic anywhere in the food preparations of my sweetie 5) My favourite bottle of red wine already opened and waiting for us when we arrive at the table. 6) Room with a large window that we can open in the morning and if need be enjoy bre...
