  "This was our second stay at Swiss House and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. The B&B is comfortable with modern decoration and spotless. We stayed in room 9 and the views were fantastic - from one side you can see the castle and the other, the rolling hills. The breakfast is also very good. ..."We will definitely go back. The location is a superb base for Mam Tor and Winnats Pass. The views in Castleton and on the hill tops are fantastic. Castleton has everything you need, numerous pubs with great beer and food, tea rooms, gift shops, caverns, tourist information centre and home made fudge. A real treat for all of the family. " More >

  "This weekend involved 18 family members meeting up for 2 nights stay to celebrate a 75th birthday. Unfortunately when we went to check to there was a small misunderstanding about room allocations which threatened to undo all the hard work and start the weekend off on the wrong foot. The assi..."stant manager Matt, dealt with the situation admirably and without a computer system managed to not only reassure us that he would rectify the problem but went further and looked after all of us personally for the next two days. I can honestly say that nothing was too much for any of the staff at this hotel, from serving breakfasts in the morning to the evening meal to room service. A special mention to Hannah too for organising and managing the birthday celebrations with great timing, energy and enthusiasm.
