I had incorrect emails for different times and prices, I would call it a shambles and NOT expected at this level of hotel.   "Fantastic, idyllic English countryside setting and staff who know what you want before you do, luxurious bedrooms and fantastic facilities everywhere you look. Even having coffee is a pleasure, it is beautifully served and appears instantly. The hotel wants to spoil its guests (rather than just..." talk about it) and the attention to detail is impressive. I stayed with people who get the best and they were nodding their heads in approval. Evening meals were superb. Lots of local, in-season ingredients and exquisitely presented and cooked exactly to order. We all ate at the same time and we were a big group. Chef is modern and flashy, but you won't to bed hungry and even the humble bread basket offers bewildering, delicious choices. My one gripe was breakfast. Which was plagued by mixed-up orders from the cooked menu.   "Everything was excellent! Great time at a great place. Room was very big, the bathroom was clean and really nice. The breakfast very good. Great yogurt! The garden outside is really nice, the only thing is that I would like to come back in summer!"
