  "I stayed here on business this week and am kicking myself that I have not discovered it before now. Rooms are small but comfortabl, and very nicely done out. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and food excellent. Will definitely stay here in future over local hotels. "

It was delicious, pate, toast, sauce, all of it. The main courses followed after a decent interval (obviously all cooked fresh to order) and were equally huge, fish and chips for one and lasagne the other. Good quality, straightforward food served in a friendly, comfortable, unpretentious English country pub - just what we were seeking.
