We hired a DJ they recommended who was good (we gave him our music tastes) and had plenty of freedom to come early and decorate the room we used with our own personal touches. The food was delicious! Absolutely spot on. We chose hot food rather than cold as a more classy touch and we were blown away by the selection and each dish was very good. Lasagna, chicken in a white cream sauce, baby potatoes in butter and mint, salads, shell pasta and others. We brought our own dessert, and they had an extra table brought in and dressed to lay my things on it, always able to accommodate whatever wishes we had.   "This was a lovely hotel in a lovely village.If you like original features in your room the wardrobe was original and looked like those built into houses in vidtorian times.Our room was a little small but very comfortable and everything worked including the shower.It was an electric one and not the u..."sual kind that are attached to the taps and which are a nightmare.Even the wifi worked in the rooms which is quite unusual.The only gripe I had was the staffing levels.We had to go and find a waitress both mornings in the restaurant and on the first morning the breakfast looked as if it had been reheated in the microwave.Also there was no fresh fruit for breakfast which I like to have.Overall a pleasnat stay especially for the £69 we paid on KGB deals.
