The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, including a view of the golf course. The hotel is not modern in anyway, it has a very country club feel to it which is excellent. Although the hotel is very clean in certain areas it could do with a freshen up, but this will not put us off staying again. There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere in all areas of the hotel. The leisure facilities were comfortable and had all you needed with a Jacuzzi, Sauna, Steam Room, Pool and Gym. The Spa treatments I received were a facial and a manicure on the first night, which were divine. The local countryside is of course superb, where our cyclist sons go off to explore at the earliest opportunity, but there is no need for the remaining family to go anywhere!
