I had to change dates and was able to do this without any fuss or bother,we were upgraded to the Chocolate Room and it certainly gave the WOW factor, massive room and amazing bathroom. We ate in the dining room on both nights and..." the food was of the highest quality, all at a reasonable price, breakfast was more than substantial and set us up for the day.   "Stayed at the George Hotel using a voucher which we had as a present for Christmas. The lady namely Paris) who welcomed us was very pleasant and helpful. Also had an afternoon tea voucher which we used on arrival and were served a lovely ,plentiful tea in our room (again by Paris). The room (meri..."ngue room) was street facing. It was very clean and comfortable with an en-suite with roll top bath. The breakfast was served in a pleasant dining room, it was well cooked with plenty of choice. The hotel car park is small and can be a bit tricky depending on car size but there are plenty of other places to park close by if this is a problem. The hotel is on the main street of the village and handy for all its amenities including 2 Co-ops!! It is a good base for visiting the Cotswolds and Stratford-on-Avon is only about 13 miles away.
