This establishment is a small, seemingly family run business. The rooms were outdated, but for the price we were quite satisfie..."d with our room right on the outside corner of the hotel. Our room key also opened the back gate to the Port Arthur Historic Site which was quite handy. Walking back through the site after dinner and ghost tour was a very spooky experience though. Remember to bring a torch if you decide to do this. The noise from the bar and other people staying at the hotel was noticeable due to thin walls, however we weren't disturbed too much and still slept well in the comfortable bed. Included continental breakfast was sufficient for the morning before we checked out. We would stay here again if we come back to visit Port Arthur, and we might try the in house restaurant next time which has a lovely view... " More >

  "We stayed for 2 nights in march 2013. could not fault the facility. We had a fantastic ocean view. The beach was a stones throw away and just beutiful. The place is so peaceful the only noise were waves crashing on sand, which you can never tire of. Every possible amenity was included, even a slow..." cooker if required. the only thing i think could be provided is a washing machine A shared central laundry would suffice but apart from that everything else was on hand. Even the wood fire was prepared while we were out each day. The location was a short 5 min drive from the port aurthur site. we did not want to leave. Plan to return again soon with the whole family.
