The breakfast was typical but the surprising thing was the lady running the breakfast was very quick to clean the tables as soon as someone got up. typically we are trying to brush crumbs off a table so we can sit down. The beds were very comfortable and clean. I always do a bed bug check and the room was bug free:) The only negative was the heater/air conditioner didn't work. We set it on 59 and the room was so hot we couldn't sleep. When we switched to air it was so noisy we couldn't sleep. So we just turned it off. " More >

In the right kind of weather, sitting outside and watching cars pass on US 40/National Road is quite pleasant and there is even a bypassed but drivable section of the old road right across the intersection. This place was a little ahead of the curve with wired high speed internet already in place by my first stay in 2006. Wifi has since been added so you have your choice. Was greeted and checked in very fast by a happy front desk worker. All my requests were made such as first floor, near exit and double bed (which was very comfortable). All rooms come equipped with fridge and microwave and they have a good free breakfast. Hotel has nice indoor pool with a depth very good for smaller kids on first floor and a small but well equipped gym on the third floor. Parking was also no issue. Perfect hotel for a one night layover. The only negative on this hotel would be that they need to update the shower head in the bath. " More >
