They had expensive thick socks on, but I understand rules have to be followed. Just sayin that some people should not be in the hospitality role. You don't have to be unkind. This after having to wait past the check-in time of 3 pm b/c they didn't have enough help to clean rooms from the night before. The evening staff was very friendly and efficient and chatted us up about this location being one of the original in the La Quinta chain and pointed out the Lion Head on the wall. The room was a..."cceptable and a good value since we used a coupon from the Hotels Coupon book. We called ahead and were able to get verification that the hotel would honor the coupon rate.
