The balcony space is big enough to where we brought out the dining room table to enjoy the sunset and dinner one night. You are so close to the ocean that leaving your door open at night lets you fall asleep to the waves crashing on the beach. Lanai at the Cove is by far the best choice we could've made!   "The Lanai at the Cove was the best decision we made on our Oregon coast trip. We got a great deal on a fantastic location. The rooms are a little old and worn, so don't expect to stay in luxury, but for a young married couple who was looking for the ocean view on a reasonable budget, this place far ..."outdid any expectations. The rooms have a small kitchenette (let's emphasize "small"), but it is enough to get by. As I said, young and on a budget, we still go out and shop st the grocery stores on vacations rather than eat out and so actually having this kitchenette was such a nice addition that no other hotel will live up to that expectation for the dollar we paid. We also found a three day deal where the third night is free. We found the hotel to be an extreme value considering the location. Not Enough can be said for the location!
