  "Decided to take the wife and two kids on a well earned beak after much debating we chose jacksons in Ballybofey on arrival we found the reception to be very helpful and kind sorted us out with a nice quiet area of the hotel for the room as there was a wedding that day great room very comfortable bed..."s wifi reception excellent after viewing room went to bar and had a few drinks the Guinness was very good went then to the Bistro and had a great meal I recommend you try the Home made Pizza delicious later that evening we went to bar and enjoyed some great traditional Irish music Fiddle and all the atmosphere was fantastic next day we made use of the Leisure facilities large pool steam room sauna jacuzzi all and all we had a great time cant fault this hotel at all will definetly return Thank you Jacksons Eoin McM " More >

  "This is a good hotel, especially if traveling from the North to the South of Ireland. The town itself is pleasant but has no tourist attractions to speak of. The hotel is quite large and rambling. It has a good bar with live music on the night we stayed. The restaurant is good, nice food and very..." well decorated. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and clean. There is a lovely walled garden out the back of the hotel that is great for the odd warm summer evening we get. I would recommend this hotel as a great overnight stop-off. There is anightclub in the hotel, so ask for a room away from that if you are staying on anight when it is open. " More >
