  "Just had the pleasure of staying at La Villette Hotel for 4 nights over the weekend wish we had booked for a longer period . Will definitely be coming back. From the moment we checked in we were made to feel very welcome from ALL the staff for the duration of our stay. We had room 234 on the front a..." large bright room ,with an excellent size bathroom. Plenty of drawers and wardrobe space and you will never run out of complementary coffee,tea and chocolate drinks Although on the front of the hotel we did not hear any noise at all . The hotel has a gym,indoor and outdoor swimming pool bar and an excellent restaurant serving superb food and good size meals ,if not a big eater ask for a small serving as the meals are on the generous size. The local bitter is also a good pint brewed on the island .I have stayed in many 3 star hotels all over the world business and pleasure and this welcoming hotel is definitely top of the list .A lot of local people eat and drink at this hotel so what more...   "We stayed at Del Mar Court for a week and had a wonderful time. Housekeepers were very friendly, our flat was immaculate on arrival and the price was very good value for money. The brand new bathrom was lovely. Kitchen well equipped and perfectly adequate. The bedroom was quite large for two peopl..."e, although the bunk space (suitable for two children only) was tiny. Living room was also on the small side (not really big enough for 2 adults and 2 children), and sofas were quite worn out and uncomfortable. The weather was seasonally colder than expected so central heating wasn't on, but we did have a small electric heater available to us and extra blankets. Laundry facilities were adequate - although signage could be improved greatly by saying exactly how much money is required to do a full wash.
