The Chancellor Suite is actually the Honeymoon Suite and is totally amazing and huge, the double jacuzzi was a real treat, there was everything here you needed and more. We were a group of 20 women, and when booking old houses of this size we expected 'shabby chic' - which Toftcombs definitely wasn't - it was very warm and homely and was a real treat with all the finishing touches. The owner Claire was excellent in helping my sisters with the booking, and she met us on arrival to give us the tour, and even provided some local treats. The banqueting hall made every meal so special. And each room was welcoming with roaring fires, books, games, and lovely furniture. The bedrooms were very comfortable with massive beds and we could easily have accomodated more people in the group. The en suite rooms, rolltop bath and turret made this even more comfortable.
