Its hard writing such a brill review when you know it might make it difficult to get the property again at another time, but i really must! The house was perfect, the greeting was perfect, the locat..."ion was perfect. Everything was perfect. Right down to Sky TV, Internet, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Everything you might need to make it the best holiday cottage for a stay on the Island. I would highly recommend this house to all my friends and family. One tip though, the downstairs shower is more powerful that the ones upstairs. This proves my point. Even if the shower upstairs is not so powerful (but perfectly adequate)....it doesnt matter because there is another one which is brill! Outstanding. :) " More >

  "Stayed one night at the Royal Hotel. It is an old building with some character, and a nice change from some of the modern chain hotels. Room was spacious, clean with a small, modern shower room. Ate in the bar and the menu has a good selection that would meet all tastes. Local suppliers are ..."named eg a local butcher. There is also a fine dining restaurant. Both the bar and restaurant were busy and there seemed to be many non residents which is a good sign. Breakfast was buffet for the juices, cereals etc with a cook to order menu for hot food. Very generous portions! Checkout smooth. All of the hotel staff were very pleasant. " More >
