  "My boyfriend and I spent my birthday weekend relaxing in Smithville and La Grange and really enjoyed staying at the Auberge near downtown Smithville. Our room was cozy and quiet with a super comfortable bed and private bathroom. We loved the concrete floors - just feels so much cleaner and simpler...." We took advantage of the backyard pool to cool down on a hot afternoon. We also found some fun eating and drinking establishments in Smithville and La Grange and Mark and Lauren had good suggestions. Mark and Lauren were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. We also loved their puppies (one was a rescue dog) - so adorable. I wish I had taken pictures of the puppies to post.
