We did the mid-week package which includes a complimentary upgrade upon availability and we were in luck scoring luxury suite #4. The room was amazing! Really beautiful, jacuzzi tub and the most amazing two person shower! As much as I hate to say this we were incredibly disappointed with the restaurant. With the exception of the quail, everything we ordered (duck, scallops and fillet) tasted old and poor quality with a not so pretty presentation. Most recently my wife & I had the pleasure of traveling to Newfane and introducing two longtime friends to the Inn.   "My wife and I recently spent a weekend at the Four Columns as a birthday gift to me from her. We were on a wine and dine package that included a three course dinner nightly as well as a bottle of house wine. When we arrived Deb greeted us and advised on dinner, the common areas, and we were off ..."to our room. We had a deluxe fireplace room in the "Four Columns" building on the second floor, room #5. Our room had a corner gas log fireplace that threw off plenty of heat, as well as a king sleigh bed, and a sitting area. The room had all the ambience of a 180 year old building, wide pine floor boards, and a floor that tilted toward one side, all adding to the charm of an old inn. However, we also had an updated bath, with tile floor, jacuzzi tub, large walk in tile shower, and double vanity with marble counter top. This was the perfect blend of old and new.
