The room had a well appointed private bathroom. The price and location can't be beat. We traveled over to Woodstock for a spectacular dinner, but there are other restaurants much closer. Having been long friends with the founder and just needing the time to make the trip happen it could not have b..."een a better weekend get away. It was warm and sunny but the VT bugs where still asleep! It was great access to the mountains like Okemo and Killington. Rutland had some great little food stops. We took full access of the steam shower, the jacuzzi tub, and the firepit in the back for some nice kick back in the dark. It was hard to drive back to NYC, but I have a feeling that the next time we need a little retreat and GC is able to welcome us back, we will be up north as quick as our little car can take us (obeying posted speed limits at all times...)
