  "My husbands mother was in the Vermont Respite House in Williston. We got a call that she only had a short time to live, so we drove 19 hours straight to get to VT. We arrived in Shelburne about 10 PM and stopped at the Days Inn. They got us a room very quickly. I told them that we didn't know how lo..."ng we were going to staying and they were very accommodating. We added days as we went and ended up staying for 8 nights. The breakfast was very nice too. We would eat before we would leave for the Respite House every morning which gave us a good start each day. We are extremely happy with our stay and will go there again when we return to Shelburne. We really enjoyed this place, breakfast was excellent, all amenities great and there are a number of easy to walk to and to stumble back from restaurants in Shelburne.
