  "This was the first time my husband and I stayed at the West Dover Inn. We were meeting 3 other couples for a birthday weekend celebration. We had heard it was a very nice place but we were pleasantly surprised that it far surpassed our expectations! Each room had a unique character and warm just ..."like the owners Phil and Cathy. Both of whom were very nice and extremely helpful when suggesting where to go for lunch as well as what local attractions we should visit. What really blew us away was the food! My husband said hands down, the steak tips were the best he ever had. I had the broiled scallops with the risotto--OMG--didn't want the meal to end! After dinner we had a wonderful time at the Tavern. Great music, delicious cocktails! The next day, the breakfast was fresh and delicious.   "Had the distinct pleasure of staying at the Inn this weekend. I had the opportunity to see most of the rooms charming in every way as well as plenty of living space. Every time I walked by the front desk I was engaged in conversation with any one of the three innkeepers on sight. Phil, Kathy and PJ ..."were always there to answer questions about the area and give suggestions for day trips. By the end of my weekend I knew most of the staff and had a lot of laughs. Because it was off season I was impressed and surprised how many visited the restaurant for dinner. Of course after dining there I quickly realized why they were packed.
