  "We have stayed in this vicinity many times over the years but this is the first time we have stayed at this Hampton. It is a nicely adequate Hampton, no particular frills. Lobby and breakfast area are okay, nothing fancy. Other reviewers mentioned how exceptional the staff was but our visit did no..."t demonstrate this....we did not really have any problems but when we did request something the attitude was not to help but to direct where assistance would have been nice...that happened 2 times and kind of leaves you feeling let down especially after reading how helpful the staff was. The rooms were nice & spacious but door slamming was really, really, really loud...so loud it would make you jump, don't know why that happens. It sounds like the person is in your room. The hallway was clean with new carpets, very nice. I loved the fact that the heating/ac system has a fan that stays constantly on to assist in blocking out hall noise.   "There is not much around this hotel if your looking to eat within walking distance. We walk acrosss highway to Shoney's. As far as hotel, it's fits the model for Hampton Inn: nice rooms, service, continental breakfast... This was a one night stay on our way to the Smokey Mtns."

  "I stopped on the way back from Ohio around 9 pm and was able to get a room here. The room was very clean and nice and the gentleman that checked me in was very nice and professional. I had a great nights rest. I would definately recommend staying here."
