  "The hotel is next to the river narmada and you can see the temple from your room. The rooms have a very big verandah. I took two deluxe rooms and they were very clean. The bathroom was ok and clean but the ac was not at all good and the rooms didnt become cold. It takes a long time for the rooms to ..."be cold and sometimes it isnt even cold. There are frequent power cuts so it will make the room even more hot. The food is very good and room service also great. Only veg food is available here. The staff is very courteous and helps whenever needed. Remember too book rooms for the mp tourism website in advance. Rooms are very less and isnt available as no other proper hotels are there in the area. " More >

The views over the ghats and the Narmada River make the location very special but the attention to detail and excellent hosts soon allayed my fears and I settled down for three blissful days wandering around Maheshwar, sitting in the garden reading and being spoilt by Kunta Bai.
