We had a normal room on the second floor and it was very spacious and had all amenities (tea, coffee, umbrellas flip-flops, bags...) It is modernly furnished cosy and comfortable as well. There is a balcony with a sunbed on it. We really enjoyed the pool, and as the hotel was only half full, there was always lots of space around the pool. The hotel is directly on the beach, but there are quite a lot of rocks in front of the hotel. However, we walked to the end of the beach and we could take a swim there. We had no booking however were told of this place by my borther who highly recommended it, and said that if you turn up you will be able to negotiate a better rate on the day, provided it was not high season. Being should season we thought we would try our ..."luck. We were given a standard air conditioned room with a beach view for 2100 baht per night including buffet breakfast. As we really wanted to stay beachside, we asked if there were any rooms available right on the beach, and were advised that on day 3 one would be available, so we opted for that. The lady at reception (who has fairly good English and we found very helpful as opposed to other reviews) advised us that we would have to pay 700 baht extra for that room for the remainder of the stay, so we jumped at it.
