The beds were very comfy but the breakfast totally defied our expectations. Far from the 'typical' Spanish breakfast we expected, we were treated to a lavish spread of fresh fruit, yoghurt, delicious pancakes, superb cheese-filled omelettes, home-made preserves, more fresh cheese, toast, butter and excellent coffee. The dining room overlooks the swimming pool and is decorated in Andalusian style with an array of Moroccan pots on display for sale. A wonderful experience and one which we will certainly repeat - but next time we're booking in for dinner too. " More >

  "The lovely village of Agua Amarga has it all. Beachfront location, chic shops, fabulous restaurants and lively bars. We have been here many times, but this was our first time at Hotel Senderos and we were not disappointed. It is located next to the road, although this is a relatively quiet road ..."so not much traffic. The staff were friendly and the room very clean and well appointed. Breakfast was a continental buffet served by the pool, with a delicious selection of breads/pastries and fresh orange juice. Knowing the prices and locations of other hotels, €60 for a double room including breakfast was great value. We will definitely stay here again. " More >

  "A beautiful hotel found a three minute walk from the beach in Agua Amarga. My wife and I stayed in a superior double - Newport - which had a jacuzzi, proper double bed, some spanish furnishings and a great balcony with a killer view. The stay included breakfast which was plentiful and delicious, and..." the overall ambience was extremely relaxed and friendly. What really made our stay here however were the staff, Angel and Angelina, who were both so warm and friendly at every meet, and really made our stay extremely relaxing. They're both great hosts and really make the stay that much more enjoyable. We also used the spa which was over the road beside the tennis court, and this was a great experience and well worth the treat. Extra info - the bar in the main square called Lalola is a great place to enjoy some beers and delicious locally flavoured toasties.
