We were staying in a room that wasnt in the main lodge. We called and reported it and basically the response we got was "well I dont know why, its working over here." Then they said it was our devices which it wasnt because they worked in the restaurant on the property. The clerk said we could use the business room computers but who wants to walk over to another building and do that when you just want to be curled up in bed with your spouse, relaxing, and checking email.   "The hotel was clean and had all the amenities I look for when I am away from home. The proximity to restaurants, grocery stores and drug stores is what makes this a great place to stay. It was also close to the event I booked the hotel for."

We enjoyed sitting on our balcony looking out at the river and the boats as well as enjoying the beautiful sunsets. We did have to go in from the balcony one evening due to a wind shift which brough the terrible smell of the pig processing plant, which is located nearby. Wi-fi is spotty but not a problem as we went there to enjoy ourselves. My only complaint is the plastic grate in the shower which really hurts your feet standing on it. Take your flip flops to wear when taking a shower. " More >
