  "This place is wonderfully located, right on the beach and right in Chelan. All rooms face the water, so the view is beautiful. The rooms & bathroom are well appointed & comfortable, & the staff was friendly. I don't know that it quite qualifies as a "resort", but it does have a beach, pool and re..."staurant on site, so maybe it does. It is quite pricey in the summer, but apparently they often sell out, so I guess there is enough demand to justify the price. We have only stayed in the shoulder season (May & September), when the weather was still decent and the prices a little more reasonable. You can sign up for their email newsletter and they will notify you of sales and specials. The food at the onsite restaurants was great every time, and they have an extensive wine selection. For the evenings, the small Chelan movie theater is a short walk a way. There is a Safeway and Starbucks across the street for all the comforts of home. " More >

  "Normally, I stay at Campbell's, but couldn't because my friend had a dog and Campbell's allows no pets. So, I noted AAA recommended the Lakeside Lodge close to the town of Chelan. The moment we arrived they attended to us pleasantly. We ended up with just what we wanted: 2 queens, level entry, do..."g friendly, non-smoking, view of the lake, parking right in front of our room. The price? A mid-week special for $99 a night. A surprising bargain with a super nice room and deck overlooking the beautiful pool and Jacuzzi across from the park and lake. Besides having a well-equipped kitchenette there was a Keurig coffee maker, more than enough pillows, large LG cable TV. Beautifully kept grounds of luscious green grass and rows of pink roses delighted our eyes. Our taste buds enjoyed the deluxe continental breakfast including Belgian waffles and omelets in an attractive light-filled, spacious dining room viewing Lake Chelan while we sat on western furniture.   "Located right on Lake Chelan--you can walk out your room to either the beach or the pool. Beautiful views. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was tastefully decorated and comfortable.
