  "My husband and I stayed here May 3/4, 2013 as we had some shopping to do in Lynnwood--we had stayed here before and loved the location (close to Alderwood Mall and other shopping). We did NOT book ahead and yet they happened to still have rooms available on the weekend, of which we were grateful. We..." paid just over $100 for the night (just over $120 with taxes). There is a manager's reception in the evening (which we just missed) and breakfast which are included. The breakfast was great--waffles, eggs, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, pastries and all kinds of breads, coffee/teas/juices. It is often busy in the morning and you are lucky to find a seat. There is some outdoor seating now, which is great. The rooms (although not large) have been nicely redone, with a small fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. The bed is wonderfully comfortable!! It is clean and the staff are extremely friendly. We found this hotel to have great value...and it's within walking distance to the mall and Star... " More >

  "This hotel has great staff up and down the line. To a person they were first rate. The evening reception is OK with average beer on tap as well as mixed drinks. Some basic nibbles are included. The overall design is good but the busy carpets are showing signs of wear and stains and the hotel is ..."in need of major upgrades. Oddly, dishes and trash in the common areas seemed to beg for collection...this after several hours. Do managers walk about? The room was clean and sized as expected for a suite. Comfortable bed. Small pool. Breakfast included delicious oatmeal, cooked to order eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, mediocre coffee, etc. With modest flaws noted, the hotel is good and the location next to I5 and near the mall are pluses.
