Being as it was Mother's Day, the dining room was crowded, but we were approached by a young waiter letting us know that someone would be with us in just a minute. We really weren't in any hurry, and we could see that the room was full, so a short wait was to be expected. However, our server Cindy came along within moments and took care of our every need from there. My fiance (at the time) stayed there for a night a couple months prior to check it out, and found the rooms comfortable, nicely decorated, and clean. They only charged $99/night for our guests, and it..." was quite a bargain for a nice room in a large hotel with restaurants, a fitness center, etc. And it's close to the main streets of Shepherdstown, so our guests could spend some time in the charming little town. The staff were very helpful and also recommended the shuttle company that brought our guests to the reception and back.
